BeppeGiuseppe Infusini

My mimito, Giuseppe (Yiusepe –as I say) was born in the place where I have tried the best pizza and mozzarela ever, Naples, Italy on October 6th of 1974.

He is the “only” child of Silvia and Francesco. I use quotation marks in the word “only” because each time I go to Naples I get to know another brother or sister of his extended family.

Yiusepe was raised in Naples and then in Genova. People say that when little he was extremely shy. Mabel, silvia, giuseppeThat obviously changed over time. One of the best anecdotes somebody has told me about Yiusepe is of one day when he was on his way to school in the car with his father. He removed an apparatus that he had on his teeth and started playing with it until he suddenly realized that the apparatus was flying out from the window of the car….

Maria, MabelAnother good one is when his mother thought about giving him away in the middle of the African dessert in exchange of 100 mules (ha, ha, ha). Yiusepe´s first love…grrrrrr….let´s not talk about this.

I have not yet understood what Yiuseppe does for living. All I know is that he is a Chemist and that he weights proteins? Yiusepe enjoys hanging out with friends, photography, dancing tango (right mimo?), salsa etc., playing the piano, reading cartoons, watching movies (while I sleep) and touching “the morbido”. Want to know the best part? Given his culinary abilities, he’s promised to be the cooker at our house :=)  Yiusepe´s heart is the one of a child. He is the most emphatic person that I have ever met in my life.

Silvia, FerruccioThe most peculiar characteristic of Yiusepe is his Fusillis. I love them and because of them I call him Fusi. I also love his wonderful eyes. When I stared at them last September I realized that the best I could do is to share my life with him. Stick around, the story will continue after the big day: August 9th of 2008.
